I had cream that was nearing its use by date and i thought what can i make to use this up and then i came across this Recipe while looking through my signed masterchef everyday cook book so here it is
You will need
400g Dark Chocolate
175g Butter
175g Caster Sugar
4tbsp of Cocoa Powder
6 Egg Yolks
500ml of Double cream
Method :
Line a 900g (2lb) Loaf tin with cling film, break up 400g of dark chocolate and place in a saucepan with 175g of butter ,175g of caster sugar and the 4tbsp of cocoa powder melt over a very low heat stirring constantly
Whip 500ml of double cream and fold in, Transfer to the prepared tin and lave to chill for at least 2 hours or overnight. Turn out remove the cling film and using a hot knife cut into slices
This tasted so good and it was a delight and so easy to make in the run up to christmas. Everyone loves chocolate and if youre a chocolate lover then this dessert is an absolute MUST, I loved how it turned out! Pictures i took to show you
