The City Hotel Food Review

18-20 Bridge Street

KY12 8DA

Went to this Hotel for a meal on the 31st October 2012.  We got seated promptly wasnt packed but there were other diners in and the food looked good. The waitress who was very polite took our drinks order and left us menus to look at when she returned with our drinks she asked if we were ready to order. We ordered lentil soup , cheesy garlic Bread to start and I then had the steak pie and my daughter had the battered fish.

The starters came and looked delicious well garnished and presented. however I had to ask for a spoon as there wasnt one on the table the waitress brought me one quickly.  After our starters we waited about 10 minutes for our main meals. They were worth the wait as all cooked freshly to order and looked delicious and tasted delicious too.

My daughter had ice cream for Dessert and I didn’t want one

The cost of this meal and drinks was £22.30  which i thought was very reasonable for good quality food in a nice relaxed environment and nice pleasant waiting staff then i recommend you visit this place
