Horsemeat in UK and Irish Foodchain “DISGUSTING” and “ALARMING”

I dont know how many of you saw the news and the fact that tesco were selling beefburgers that contained quite a high volume of horsemeat. Now I for one am very careful about what goes into a lot of products and what i eat  the fact of the matter is if it had been labelled properly then it would have been acceptable and given the Consumer the right to choose.  how many people would buy these if correctly labelled?? i can be emailed at rona_grieve@hotmail.co.uk I would not knowingly eat horsemeat as i was brought up with horses and think it is morally wrong  most people wouldnt eat their best friend ie a Cat or a Dog  ( although in some countries they are bred for meat) why is a horse different?

however what was the horsemeat doing in beefburgers in the first place. The factory does not use horsemeat or deal in it so how it ended up being there is seriously worrying. I think serious questions need to be asked to Tesco and  why this was allowed to happen. Also Hygiene standards and cleanliness too.

People from different religions ie muslim also found pork in products labelled  Beef so in a way there is a lot of cheating going on i think this is important and if tesco would like to answer my questions ill publish them that is all for now on this subject!  also the scandal in the Daily Mail tesco making ill timed tweets and jokes  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2264394/Horse-meat-scandal-hit-Tesco-centre-Twitter-backlash-customer-care-message-told-followers-staff-hit-hay.html

On the plus side I am visiting Scothot wth college  who is all going? and id be interested to have a chat with you x
