Today at college we made Macaroni cheeese and Spaghetti Bolognese This is the recipe I used and thought i’d post if you were interested.
Butter or Margarine 50g, Flour 50g , Milk 500ml, 100g Cheese, 100g Macaroni
Method: melt the margarine in a pan and then add the flour stirring continuously until smooth and then slowly add in the milk till you have a smooth sauce, Add 100g of grated cheese to the sauce and stir.
Cook 100g of Macaroni in salted water until cooked add sauce to pasta and put some grated parmesan on the top oven bake for approx 5-10mins or until the cheese is melted. serve Enjoy
You will need: Oil 10g, Onion 50g, Garlic 1 clove, Minced Beef 200g Stock 125ml, Tomato Puree 1tsp, Oregano pinch, Mushrooms 75g, plum tomatoes 2tbsps Spaghetti 150gm Parmesan to finish.
Dice onion and put into a pan with oil and Garlic sweat them off for a few minutes , brown the Minced Beef then add the mushrooms,Tomato puree and Plum Tomatoes also the oregano leave to simmer gently for 15-20 mins.
put the Spaghetti into a pan of boiling salted water and cook for 9 minutes or until it is al dente.
serve the spaghetti on a plate top with the Bolognese.
